Are you over 50 or 60,
looking for fashion advice?
It has always been more than just finding some new clothes. When you reach a certain age whether it be fifty sixty or seventy, that does not mean that you stop or disappear. Its a bit more than finding a new coat or skirt. Its 'the whole package'. I will discuss whatever you feel that concerns you; help you with a 'look' strategy, make suggestions that I think will help you discover the real you. Famous women such as Sophia Loren, Julie Andrews , Joan Collins, Barbara Windsor and Raquel Welch range from their late fifties to their late 70's so its obvious that life really does not stop at age fifty after all! A look for your life Whatever it is that you do, I am here to help you with advice in how to present yourself. I will help you regain the confidence that you may have lost some time ago. This is your time and you need to make the most of it. Rediscover the person inside and gain the confidence to start or develop new relationships.
A look for the work place
Perhaps you are in a great job and feel that you need to
present yourself in a more up to date and elegant manner. Over the years you
have been so busy working that your own appearance has drifted slightly and
needs a 'kick start'
On the other hand, perhaps you are wishing to get involved in the workplace after some period being away. The new government legislation coming into effect in 2006 makes that easier by outlawing ageism in the same way as racism and other employment no no's. Recognition of the Older Woman
The advertising Media is starting to recognise that their
largest target sales area is the older person and while Lancôme
fired Isobel
Rossellini at age 42 for being too old they soon realised their mistake. These
days many
companies have started to use older women to promote their product lines. Last year L'Oreal
recruited the then 57-year-old French actress Catherine Deneuve to promote its
hair-care products, while Estée Lauder asked Karen Graham, its star model in the
1970s, to be the face for a new cream for the mature market.
